An enthralling and epic journey by six mountaineers to climb Mount Minto in Antarctica, ‘the last wilderness on earth’. The expedition is plagued by disasters, delays, blizzards and the threat of being trapped in the frozen Ross Sea. Filming all the while, with provisions running out, they are determined to reach the summit – and then to make the perilous return journey back to their ship.
